It seems Google gone crazy. It has rolled out several improvements on its Android apps. We already discussed the Google Image Translate and improved Google Search app for Android. Now, one major improvement on iOS is here.
The Web giant unveiled new Google Search app for Apple’s iOS that will feature Siri-like voice search.
The voice-driven search app for the iOS is said to be inspired from Apple’s Siri voice assistant app. This new app works only on iOS 4.2+ or higher. The iDevices lacking built-in microphone can also made used of this feature via Apple headphones with remote-microphone.
The new app will comprehend the questions of users and it also answers back in full sentences. To make it work such the search giant has combined proficiency in natural language processing.
The new Google Search app is yet to be released. The date however has not been mentioned by Google.
Apple first introduced Siri last year with its iPhone 4S and attracted several users.
