LONDON - Forensic & Compliance Systems, Ltd., the manufacturer of Cryoserver email archiving solutions, is happy to announce the launch of CryoAPP for Android.
Last month, FCS successfully launched the CryoAPP for iPhone and iPad users.
"When we launched the iPhone/iPad app, the Android app was getting its final touches," said Robin Bingeman of the email archiving solution. "We understand that not all clients use iPhones and iPads, which was the main reason we worked so diligently on getting the Android app up and running."
The CryoApp will give clients access to the archive at all times with the added bonus of fully operational search capabilities for remote workers.
Once the Cryoserver API framework has been installed/configured with a license by administrators, users can open a browser window on their phone and type in the address they have been assigned. CryoApp will run through Wi-Fi, if available; otherwise it will default to the mobile network.
Users can effortlessly review any email that they have ever received or sent since they started archiving via various search techniques including:
- Search for emails by sender/receivers/group email addresses
- Selectively search for email with or without their attachments
- Specify words for searching for an exact match or words that sound similar
The Cryoserver product was created with many years of email storage knowledge and experience. Every email sent in, out and within an organisation is stored in a protected, tamper-evident repository. Cryoserver has the ability to provide forensic grade analysis on emails and attachment content for legal submission via E-discovery functionality.
"With the availability of these apps, companies no longer have an excuse to not take advantage of our solutions," the archiving appliance provider said. "As long as users have their Android supported device with them, they can access any email in question in seconds."
The Android app is available for download in the Android marketplace. This app is available for all types of users regardless of whether they employ the solution in the cloud, on-premises, as a software or appliance, said Bingeman.
